Adagio Health Inc is looking to hire (1) one full-time Medical Office Front Desk Receptionist
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MEDICAL OFFICE FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST
As the welcoming face of Adagio Health's clinical office, the Front Desk Receptionist ensures every client and visitor feels valued from the moment they arrive. Your day revolves around creating a positive first impression through warm greetings, efficient service, and attentive support. Tasks may include managing a steady flow of phone calls, scheduling appointments with precision, assisting clients with check-in and payment processes, and keeping the reception area tidy and inviting. You'll collaborate closely with clinical and administrative teams to maintain seamless operations while addressing inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries, and take messages
- Schedule and confirm appointments, verify insurance information, and collect co-payments
- Schedule outside referrals/diagnostic appointments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, both electronically and in paper format
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing/scanning, data entry, transfer/obtaining of medical records, and photocopying
- Complete patient check-out, ensuring that billing has been completed according to the fee ticket
- Print specimen labels/shipping labels
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MEDICAL OFFICE - FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years previous experience in a customer service or medical office reception role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer programs (Microsoft Office, scheduling software)
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
