What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse and Field Support Associate position at Adair Commercial Flooring?

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Transporting materials and equipment
- Load and unload products using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Pick up and document material after job completion
- Receive and document merchandise in the warehouse for delivery or return
- Keep an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse
- Identify any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the office
- Ensure that all merchandise is safely and securely stored or labeled and staged for delivery
- Driving a variety of vehicles, including various trucks and vans (No CDL required)
- Audit and report inventory while making recommendations of items to restock
- Demolition of existing flooring, as needed
- Maintain job-related equipment and company trucks
- Maintain a clear motor vehicle report
- Represent Adair Commercial Flooring with professionalism and integrity during all customer interactions
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess:
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
- Ability to pass background check required
- Delivery experience of at least one year preferred
- Experience in the flooring industry preferred
- Good communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
- Experience driving forklift preferred
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Physical strength (lift up to 70lbs), stamina and ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
- Positive and collaborative team player
- Flexible and adaptable to manage shifting priorities
- Resilient and poised in dealing with difficult situations

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
