Description
This is a working radiology position, supervisor is expected to work as a radiologic technologist.
Manages and trains radiologic technologists
Sets the radiology department staffing schedule
Develops and implements radiology department policies and procedures when needed
Leads regular quality assurance tests on all readiology equipment
Collaborates with medical and administrative staff
Qualifications
Excels in problem solving and math skills
Has advanced management skills
Demonstrates strong bedside manner and interpersonal skills
Knows how to use all readiology equipment and protective gear
Works carefully in a fast-paced environment and is detail-oriented
Education and Experience Requirements:
A bachelor's or associate degree in radiology or a related major is required.
At least 3 years of radiologic technologist experience is mandatory
An active rediologic technologist license in Oklahoma is necessary
The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification is mandatory.
