ACHS is currently hiring for a full-time Housekeeper! Their main duties include but are not limited to: Cleans and services internal premises to maintain hospital in sanitary, attractive and orderly condition, in an assigned location and/or an assigned shift, following established schedules, policies, procedures and methods.
- Maintains clean an aseptic condition in assigned area by vacuuming, scouring, dust mopping, wet mopping, damp dusting, removing trash, washing windows and shampooing furniture.
- Use equipment and materials effectively in daily work.
- Uses detergents, germicides, or other supplies as recommended and follows recommended handling/mixing procedures.
- Reports needed repairs to manager.
- Attends meetings or training sessions as required.
- Moves furniture inside and outside of hospital.
- Logs activities throughout work shift.
- Replenishes and restocks areas with required supplies.
- Removes soiled draperies and cubicle curtains and rehangs same as directed.
