Compensation:Pay rate on 50 C2C

MUST convert at $90K (will not go over $95K)

LOCATION DETAILS: Hybrid 3 days a week- Note they will be onsite 5 days for the first few weeks of contract

Summary:Akkodis is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Oracle Financial Business Analyst to join an exciting company. This is a key hands on role. This position requires a results-driven individual who can define, plan, and execute outcome-focused product portfolios to drive efficiency and effectiveness in these critical areas

INTAKE NOTES/ABOUT THE ROLE:

Day-to-day/The Project:

This role will be responsible for configurations, troubleshooting, and issue resolution within Oracle Cloud Financials, focusing on budgetary control, encumbrances, grants, project accounting, and approval workflows.

On Day 1, this individual will need to analyze and troubleshoot issues related to encumbrances, budgetary controls, and financial impacts on the General Ledger (GL), affecting modules such as Purchasing, Payables, Receivables, and iExpense.

Identify and resolve workflow and hierarchy approval issues affecting Purchasing, Payables, Receivables, and iExpense.

Support data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to diagnose and resolve system errors and financial discrepancies.

Assist in developing ad hoc reports for finance and leadership teams

TOP REQUIRED SKILLS:

Solid finance and accounting background with hands-on experience configuring Oracle Cloud Financials.

No less than 2 years of experience

Strong functional skills (70%) with the ability to understand and work on some technical aspects (30%)Strong knowledge of financial configurations, project and grant accounting, and budgetary control settings

.Experience troubleshooting encumbrances, funds availability, and approval workflow hierarchies.
Familiarity with General Ledger (GL), Purchasing, Payables, Receivables, and iExpense modules.Hands-on experience with BI Publisher (BIP) and dashboards for light financial reporting.

Preferred Skills:Soft Skills:(Accountant type personality will do well)

Decent communications skill, but this is not customer facing, technical abilities and the initiate to be proactive and tackle a project is the priority.
