We are looking for a responsible and highly motivated Sales Associate to join our passionate and close-knit team. A Sales Associate's responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answering their questions on products, and recommending the right solutions. Our ideal candidate would deliver excellent customer service to close sales while upholding the ideals and standards of our company. The successful Sales Associate will stay up-to-date with product features and maintain our store’s visual appearance to high standards.
Tasks:
Welcome all customers into the store with a friendly greeting and actively seek out the customers in the store.
Deliver excellent customer service from the beginning to the end of every sale
Work with customers to understand their needs and suggest the appropriate products to achieve customer satisfaction
Cross-sell products
Ensure the store's sales floor and backstock areas are clean and organized.
Efficiently process arriving shipments by receiving inventory, pricing products, and delivering them to the sales floor.
Use company literature and available training resources to stay up to date on product features.
Skills and Requirements:
Previous work experience as a Retail Sales Associate, Sales Representative, or have applicable transferable skills
Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
Proficiency in English
Basic Math skills
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
A friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focus
Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints promptly
Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
High school degree or equivalent
Work Schedule:
We are seeking a candidate for a part-time position. A standard shift would be between eight to eleven hours long and consist of opening and closing the store with other employees. Part-time employees typically work two days a week. The store's current hours are Monday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm and Sunday from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The schedule is flexible, but working weekends and holidays is required.
