Makeup Artist/Hospitality Coordinator
Busy regional salon, spa & boutique seeks CT-Licensed Makeup Artist to join our hospitality and service teams for a FT position. Duties include:
- Providing professional make-up services for clients, including brides, special events and everyday looks
- Offering product recommendations and assisting clients with purchases
- Driving retail sales of cosmetics, skincare, haircare and boutique items through customer service and product knowledge, meeting weekly sales targets
- Assisting at our hospitality desk when not engaged in other duties
Ideal candidate, makeup artist, hospitality coordinator will have:
- Makeup artist experience in a salon, spa or retail setting
- Strong communications and sales skills to maximize sales and commissions
- Passion for beauty, makeup trends, and connecting with customers
- Availability to work 35-40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends; we are open 7 days. Ideal shift would be Wed-Sun.
