We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer/Sales Manager to join our luxury design team in Long Island. This role combines design expertise with sales and business development, offering a competitive base salary plus a 3% commission on all sales and benchmark bonuses.
About the Role
The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of luxury design trends, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales and business development. They will lead the Long Island showroom team, overseeing daily operations, maintaining aesthetics, and managing inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies and exceptional customer service.
- Cultivate relationships with trade clients, providing exceptional service and driving sales.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying knowledge to drive business growth.
- Host in-showroom events and workshops to attract new clients and build relationships with existing ones.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of interior design experience, preferably with luxury residential projects.
- Degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Proven sales and business development skills.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.
- Strong understanding of luxury design trends and products.
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) is a plus.
