Essential Functions
Physical And Mental Demands
- Models the values and guiding principles of our dealership;
- Inspect and diagnose vehicle based on work-order received;
- Communicate job-related needs, and or delays, to Service Advisor;
- Perform service, repair, or customization according to factory guidelines and specifications;
- Constantly move about the immediate service area, and adjoining areas (parts department, etc.);
- Maintain technical knowledge and qualifications by keeping current in factory-training programs;
- Maintain accuracy of all job-related service records;
- Support, promote, and get involved in the Help Sell, and Motorcycle Referral, Programs;
- Act as an Ambassador for the dealership, and the Harley-Davidson brand.
Physical And Mental Demands
- Frequently moves equipment and motorcycles weighing greater than 500 to over 950 lbs.;
- Frequently operate hand-held, or other machinery and equipment.
- Occasionally work more than 8-hours per day, and on the weekends;
- Occasionally move or transport objects that weigh > 50 lbs.;
- Exposure to loud noises, fumes, and other toxic chemicals.
- Completion of a factory authorized training program such as MMI Service School, or equivalent work experience;
- Maintain a valid driver license with motorcycle endorsement, and clean driving record;
- Possess & maintain both basic and specialized tools to service HD vehicles (refer to dealer tool inventory list).
