Job Summary:
The Recreation Advisor will work closely with the Recreation/Evening/Weekend Programs team to provide students with comprehensive evening and weekend programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting health and wellness, education, and training through overseeing recreation and evening/weekend activities. This is a full-time position that reports Wednesday through Sunday, 3p-12a.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Recreation/Evening/Weekend Programs team to develop comprehensive evening and weekend programs for students
- Promote health and wellness, education, and training through overseeing recreation and evening/weekend activities
- Assist with supervision of a comprehensive and diverse recreation program
- Coordinate with off-Center partners to deliver academic and recreation services
- Document student participation and accountability during recreation and evening/weekend activities
- Ensure the overall appearance, condition, and organization of the recreation and evening/weekend department facilities
Requirements:
- Post-Secondary Degree required or one-year related experience working with youth required
- CDL preferred
- Ability to lift 40 pounds or assess the lift load to ask for necessary assistance
