What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treasury Management Sales Assistant position at Adams Bank and Trust?
We're looking for a team centric, detail and goal oriented individual to add to our Treasury Management team!
Role Summary: Responsible for supporting cash management sales function in all capacities. Works closely with VP of Treasury Management, relationship bankers, operations staff, and other support staff to coordinate the on-boarding and support of cash management services to new and existing customers. Assists to solidify the customer relationship through a superior level of customer service standards. Helps to create and grow cash management fee income that meets the bank's growth strategies and goals. Assists in training and supporting partners in the bank and external customers on TM products and services. Adds expertise to the Small Business Banking sales and service function.
- Works with Treasury Management Officer, Commercial, Retail and Ag sales teams and relationship bankers to develop sales and support strategies within each region. Participates in outbound and inbound calls to demonstrate the online banking portal as well as Treasury Management products and services.
- Prepares cash management service proposals as requested directly by the relationship banker or prospective client. Assess customer needs and recommends effective strategies. Perform cost benefit and risk analysis.
- Understands all existing Treasury Management and Small Business Banking products and services, and recommends additional products and services to add to the Bank's suite.
- Assists with the retention of customers, addition of new customers, and overall growth of the bank.
- Effectively communicates with department heads, functional leaders, operational staff, and relationship and retail bankers to coordinate sales/support effort of Treasury Management products and services with the region/branch customers. Updates all sales efforts directly into the CRM system.
- Streamlines on-boarding and other processes to create efficiencies for the bank and customer. Conducts compliance reviews, including but not limited to Remote Deposit Capture and ACH, to satisfy regulatory and bank process/procedure requirements.
- Helps to write/update policies and procedures for existing and new products and services.
- Opens accounts for new and existing customers, and cross-sells new products and services to existing customers.
