Delivery Driver - CDL
The Delivery Driver (with CDL) is responsible for the safe, timely delivery and service of all products sold within assigned route and to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle to reach all customer locations. The Delivery Driver must understand all company policies and procedures of said delivery. Delivery Drivers generally operate as one-person units. This is a salary exempt position that is not subject to overtime calculations and can average 40-50 hours per week. For DOT tracking purposes, this employee reports hours in Time & Attendance Systems (time clock). This position reports directly to the Delivery Manager.

The Delivery Driver assumes other responsibilities as assigned by Delivery Manager, Delivery Assistants, VPs, Branch Manager and ownership. These responsibilities and objectives include but are not limited to :

While performing the responsibilities of the Delivery Driver job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is required to lift a minimum weight of 50 pounds repeatedly through the course of the day. While performing the duties of this job in the internal and external environment, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. While performing duties of this job in the field environment, the employee will be exposed on a regular basis to moving mechanical parts, motor vehicles and traffic. In addition, the exposure while in customer locations cannot be projected.
