We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Quality Assurance Manager specializing in Navy / Marine Corps aviation at the Organizational-level operations on CH-53K aircraft located at Patuxent River, MD . This role is essential to supporting the repairs and inspection of test aircraft airframes and systems to ensure optimal aircraft readiness and operational capability for support of the flight and test schedule.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the sites entire Quality efforts for the CH-53K and YCH-53K.
- Works with Government and Contractor Senior Management to maintain Quality Assurance and safety programs, to include policies, processes, procedures, and controls.
- Ensures Contract performance conforms to established standards and Government Agency guidelines.
- Development of the site policies and procedures
- Manages / Supervises contractor Aircraft Quality Control Inspectors and Inspection (Quality) Department including inspection requirements, trend analysis, technical order publication library, maintenance training programs, and functional check flight programs.
- Train and mentor, all Collateral Duty Inspectors (CDI's) and Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representatives (CDQAR's)
- Prepares / Manages / Audits QA, Safety, and Hazardous material Programs required by government, service, and base regulations and instructions.
- Provides timely responses and corrective actions to customer concerns and findings.
- Maintains awareness of regulatory changes and disseminates safety-related bulletins, technical changes, and literature to worksite Personnel.
- Self-starter and ability to work independently in a team environment.
