Operates straight or articulated rubber-tired tractor-type vehicle equipped with front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage or processing areas, to feed conveyors, hoppers, or chutes, and to load trucks or railcars: Starts engine, shifts gears, presses pedals, and turns steering wheel to operate loader. Moves levers to lower and tilt bucket and drives front-end loader forward to force bucket into bulk material. Moves levers to raise and tilt bucket when filled, drives vehicle to work site, and moves levers to dump material. Performs routine maintenance on loader, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.

Moves levers to raise and tilt bucket when filled, drives vehicle to work site, and moves levers to dump material. Performs routine maintenance on loader, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Maintain the stockyard to include pushing piles when stock arrives, notify management when stock is needed.
- Keep bins stocked with material while asphalt plant is running.
- Perform daily inspection of vehicle at plant
- Inspection will include (but not limited to) keeping fluids at normal operating level, keeping autogreaser full of grease, keeping odd grease fittings greased and filters clean and changed when needed.
- At times there will be physical labor such as shoveling, long periods of sitting/standing.
- Other related duties
- Helping to clean around plant
- Helping to maintain/repair when needed.
