What are the responsibilities and job description for the Casework Supervisor - Child Welfare position at Adams County Children Services?
This position supervises the work of child welfare caseworkers; determines the needs for new staff members, interviews applicants; initiates action for an recommends the termination of employees; disciplines subordinates when necessary; completes performance evaluations; trains new and current employees; signs and reviews work of subordinates; monitors cases/case plans; provides supervision in casework; assists in policy making for Children Services; performs related work as required.
Applicants must be 21 years of age, have a valid Ohio Driver’s License and insurance, must pass a criminal background check drug screen, and physical. Applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in human service-related studies. L.S.W is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
