Responsibilities
- Provide information about victim's rights, critical event notification, emotional support, and referral assistance to community-based agencies
- Conduct follow-up services for incident reports, including contacting victims, addressing case-related questions, and providing resources
- Maintain confidentiality of all case work and contact with victim/witnesses from outside entities
- Transport children, victims, and/or witnesses when necessary
- Attend Detective Division and other agency meetings as scheduled
Requirements
- Equivalent experience providing direct services to victims of crime
- Valid Colorado Driver's License
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain a calm demeanor in stressful situations
