- Train faculty on testing processes and ensure the security and fidelity of test administration.
- Create and execute detailed project plans to coordinate assessment administration logistics effectively.
- Proactively communicate roles, timelines, and responsibilities to leadership, faculty, and staff.
- Develop and maintain an annual testing calendar for all state-mandated and district-adopted assessments.
- Ensure the calendar is up-to-date and shared with all relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate and deliver assessment-specific communication and training for campus assessment liaisons.
- Provide ongoing technical support and training on educational software used in the assessment process.
- Direct the development and maintenance of a district-wide assessment and information plan.
- Ensure that reliable and valid assessments and educational quality indicators are developed and implemented.
- Assist in managing state and district testing programs, including training school testing coordinators and ensuring proper management of test materials.
- Monitor the security and quality of achievement data collected during assessments.
- Contribute to assessment-related initiatives and activities as assigned by the Director of Assessment, Insights, and Analytics.
- Provide expertise and recommendations to improve assessment practices and processes.
- Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other required documents related to assessments.
- Ensure timely submission of documentation to meet district and state compliance standards.
- Adhere to all district and campus routines, policies, and regulations regarding assessment practices.
- Promote ethical and secure handling of all assessment materials and data.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent of Schools.

JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY
The Specialist, Data and Assessment, supports Adams 14 educators and school leaders in effectively using data to enhance instructional strategies, elevate student outcomes, and advance the district's commitment to a culture of continuous improvement. This role focuses on analyzing and interpreting student performance data to generate actionable insights that align with Adams 14 goals and priorities. The Specialist collaborates with staff to implement evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of our students and community, ensuring data-driven decisions contribute to equitable and measurable progress across the district.
REQUIREMENTS
Education Level Details
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field from an accredited college or university
Master's degree in Education, Education Leadership, or a related field (preferred)
License / Certification Required
Colorado Teaching License in the Academic Field Required
Work Experience Required
5 years of K - 12 teaching experience, preferably in a core content area
2 years Building Administrative or leadership level experience preferred
Other Skills and Abilities Required
