General Purpose
The main purpose of Power Equipment Parts Associate is to look up parts for customers and the service department while providing excellent customer service.
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Reports to: Power Equipment Parts Manager
Principle Responsibilities
- Ensure that customers receive the best customer service by providing friendly, polite, and knowledgeable service
- To look up and order parts for customers and technicians
- Greet customers personally and thank them appreciatively for shopping at Adams
- Inventory control
- Stock and price inventory on floor
- Answer phones
- Maintain an organized, clean work space
- Check in parts from UPS or truck stock orders
Physical Requirements
- Lift over 50 lbs.
- Stand for long periods of time
- Be able to write
- Speak & hear
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Must display outstanding customer service skills with both internal and external customers on the phone and in person
- Must be able to work cash register
- Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
- Ability to identify and resolve customer problems, internal and external
