General Purpose
The main purpose of Power Equipment Sales is to aid customers in the purchase of outdoor power equipment.
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Reports to: Power Equipment Sales Manager
Job Description
- Answer phone calls
- Ensure that customer and co-workers receive an outstanding friendly experience, maintain outstanding standards, have a solid product knowledge and all other components of customer service
- Schedule deliveries on new equipment
- Clean floor & equipment
- Work home shows
- Keep product stocked on floor and priced accordingly
- Credit approval on new equipment
- Multi-task
- Submit all paperwork for sales/retail bonuses, purchase orders, and finalize sales orders
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift over 50 lbs.
- Write legibly
- Speak & hear
Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and superiors
- Must have knowledge and understanding of equipment to answer customer questions during sales and calls
- Must be able to demonstrate how to use equipment to customers for sales
