Job Purpose Summary:
The Supply Chain Representative is a member of the Supply Chain Team and reports to the Supply Chain Supervisor. The Supply Chain Representative is accountable and responsible for coordinating purchase orders, specifications, delivery requirements, and communicating status updates to a broad audience, including management, truckers, internal operations personnel and import/export partners

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate input, tracking, and communication while maintaining up-to-date records.
Coordinate and communicate purchase order requirements and changes with internal departments.
Schedule and oversee logistics for domestic and international shipping and delivery.
Work closely with the customer service team on export orders.
Assist in resolving issues related to delayed or at-risk shipments.
Liaise with Accounts Payable regarding supplier payment status.
Participate in inventory management functions, regularly scheduled production, and staff meetings.
Support vendor inquiries and assessments as needed.
Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to resolve issues and improve processes.
Ensure service standards are met or exceeded across the team, promoting efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Perform any other related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, collaboration and teamwork skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP/MRP systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively across departments.
Familiarity with inventory management, procurement, and shipping processes.
Preferred:
Experience in International Compliance & Customs experience.
Understanding of supply chain regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience with ERP/Planning reporting and scheduling programs and software.
Experience in food production.
Fluent in English and Spanish
Position Requirements:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Available to work overtime including some weekends.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Have the ability to climb stairs and ladders
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
