Description
The Clinical Lab Scientist is responsible for maintaining and calibrating laboratory instruments, conducting quality control and proficiency testing, and performing patient testing across all laboratory areas. Additionally, this role involves specimen collection and requires handling sensitive patient health information (PHI) with confidentiality.
Eligible for medical coverage on your first day of employment, all other benefits will be effective the 1st of the month following hire date!
Requirements
40 hours per week - First Shift
9:00 am - 7:30 pm
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
On-Call Rotation
MT (ASCP) or Equivalent
BLS/CPR Certification
Associate's degree in chemical, physical, biological or laboratory science, but a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Previous experience in chemistry, hematology, microbiology and immunohematology is preferred.
