Description
The POC Coordinator at Adams Health Network is responsible for managing all aspects of point-of-care testing, including ensuring quality control, providing operator training, maintaining equipment, and complying with regulatory standards while offering technical support at patient bedsides or in physician offices. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist is dedicated to instrument maintenance, quality control, and proficiency testing, as well as conducting patient testing and specimen collection in the laboratory. Both roles require access to confidential patient health information and demand a strong commitment to ethical behavior and respect for security and privacy.
Eligible for medical coverage on your first day of employment, all other benefits will be effective the 1st of the month following hire date!
Requirements
40 hours per week - First Shift
Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
On - Call Rotation Every Six Weeks
MT (ASCP) or Equivalent
BLS / CPR Certification
Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or laboratory science from an accredited institution.
