We offer services such as : Mental Health Services : Offering support and treatment for mental health conditions.Adult Independent Living : Assisting adults in living independently and managing daily activities.Adult Employment : Helping individuals find and maintain meaningful employment.Respite Care : Providing temporary relief for caregivers of individuals with disabilities.Early Intervention : Providing support to young children to address developmental delays early on.JOB SUMMARY : The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for Support Solutions of Tennessee provides psychiatric social work assistance to mentally and emotionally disabled persons and their families. The LCSW collaborates with psychiatric and medical treatment teams in diagnosis and treatment planning for persons supported.RESPONSIBILITIES : Investigates case situations and presents information to Psychiatrist and Clinical Psychologist and other members of health team, on patient's family and social background pertinent to diagnosis and treatment.Helps patients to respond constructively to treatment and assist in adjustment leading to and following discharge.Interprets psychiatric treatment to patient's family and helps to reduce fear and other attitudes obstructing acceptance of psychiatric care and continuation of treatment.Serves as link between patient, psychiatric agency, and community.Works directly in treatment relationship with patients, individually or in groups, in consultation with Psychiatrist.Uses researched based strengths based social work approach to treating clients.Can assess and make clinical evaluations of client's mental health and diagnose mental illness.Make judgments on the best course of treatments based upon current clinical research in the social work field.QUALIFICATIONS : Master's degree in Social WorkLicensed by a state board to provide Social Work based mental health therapyValid LCSW licenseValid Driver LicenseValid automobile insurance (must be maintained throughout employment)BENEFITS : Supportive and collaborative work environmentCompetitive salary and benefits packagePaid Time Off (PTO)401(k)Medical Requirements : Employee must also provide any medical records required to comply with regulations in force through any governing entity related to business operations and to meet policy and procedure requirements of Support Solutions.Physical Requirements : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. There is also a requirement to be able to occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch and to reach with the hands and arms. She / he must be able to drive / travel for short periods of time to attend meetings, trainings, or perform site visits or for longer trips that will require overnight stays to attend meetings and training workshops.Body Movements : The employee must have a full range of body movements including the use of his / her hands to handle computers and other office equipment. The ability to bend the body, to reach for objects, and to crouch when needed are also required.Body Senses : The employee must have command of all five senses : sight, hearing, touch, smell, and taste. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distant vision, and depth perception. These vision requirements in each area must be sufficient to shift in focus from reading dossiers and operating office equipment.
