The Marketing Director develops marketing plans and directs the implementation of the e-commerce vision and strategy for achieving corporate sales goals. Oversees digital marketing efforts geared to grow business, increase customer engagement, promote products and optimize online experience.
Being an e-commerce Marketing Director utilizes messaging, best sellers, promotions, discounts, user reviews and email campaigns to attract and retain customers. Deploys SEO tools and methods to ensure e-commerce website is optimized for searching and performance responsiveness as well as delivering visual appeal and compelling content. Additionally, e-commerce Marketing Director tracks and measures program effectiveness to drive improvement or develop new offerings.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for developing short-term and long-term objectives, customer metrics, and overall performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase web site conversion rates, average order size, customer profitability, customer retention, site traffic
- Provide a personalized online experience based on behaviors, actions and segmentation- one that is truly representative of our position as the leader in the category
