Position Overview: Adams Leclair is seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of civil and commercial litigation, from case inception through trial and appeal.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Develop and execute case strategies that align with client objectives.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Work closely with partners and colleagues to ensure a strategic and collaborative approach to case management.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Stay informed on relevant legal developments to provide insightful and proactive counsel.
• Contribute to the firm’s growth by fostering client relationships.
• Mentor junior attorneys, providing guidance on case strategies, legal processes, and client management
• Meet an annual 1,600 billable hour requirement while maintaining high professional standards.

Qualifications:

• Current NY Bar admission in good standing.
• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience practicing as a litigator in Federal Court, State Court, administrative hearings, and/or arbitration hearings.
• Employment litigation experience preferred.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills are required.
• Demonstrates commitment to a career as an attorney.
• Effectively collaborates with other attorneys and staff members in team environments.
• Possesses strong organizational, time management, and project management capabilities.

Compensation: Associate level is $110,000 - $146,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications. This is an in-person role. Benefits include an attorney bonus program, health insurance stipend, paid time off, 401K, and paid parking.
