Associate Attorney (Location - Mobile, Alabama)
A regional reputable law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their Business Practice Group. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a firm known for its strong business law practice and commitment to innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including M&A agreements, joint ventures, and financing transactions.
- Advise clients on corporate governance matters, regulatory compliance, and entity structuring.
- Conduct due diligence and assist in M&A transactions, business reorganizations, and other strategic deals.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry-specific regulations, including securities laws and financial disclosures.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate transactions, business law, or M&A.
- Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively and effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Active bar license in the state of Alabama
