Position Overview
Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a reputable law firm in Colorado to find an experienced Family Law Legal Assistant. This role requires a professional who is knowledgeable in family law and capable of providing comprehensive support to the legal team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in handling sensitive legal matters and committed to ensuring client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Providing support to attorneys by managing family law cases efficiently.
- Conducting legal research and gathering necessary documentation for case preparation.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including affidavits, motions, and agreements.
- Coordinating communication between clients, attorneys, and court officials.
- Organizing and maintaining case files and ensuring all documentation is up to date.
- Scheduling appointments, meetings, and court dates, while managing attorneys' calendars.
- Ensuring compliance with legal procedures and confidentiality standards.
- Assisting with trial preparation and supporting attorneys during court proceedings.
- 3 years experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in family law.
- Ability to work onsite downtown.
Qualifications
Required Work Hours
Monday to Friday, during regular business hours.
Benefits
Competitive salary range between $65,000 and $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
