A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced liability litigation attorney to join their team. The position is work from home flexible but the attorney must reside in California. The firm's expertise is diverse but focused in the areas of toxic tort, complex product liability, local government, general liability, and commercial litigation.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Handle local and national accounts throughout the state of California.
- Independently manage a litigation caseload.
- Conduct depositions.
- Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial.
- Review and analyze discovery requests.
- Prepare and respond to discovery responses and pleadings.
- Prepare court filings and service to counsel; experience with e-filing.
- Trial preparation and support.
- Maintain accurate time records.
Candidate Requirements
Desired Skills and Experience
2 years of commercial litigation experience.
Licensed and in good standing in the state of California.
Must reside in California.
