Insurance Coverage Associate

A leading international law firm is seeking an attorney with at least 2 years of insurance coverage and coverage litigation experience to join their practice in California. This person can work mostly remote but must reside in California and be able to go into the firms Bay Area of Southern California offices as needed.

Responsibilities :

• Taking depositions, arguing motions, and attending court hearings and mediations as required;
• Drafting motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery requests and interrogatories, and other legal correspondence and litigation documents;
• Preparing coverage opinions;
• Conducting complex and rigorous legal research and analysis, and drafting memoranda;
• Preparing status reports and recommendations to clients;
• Reviewing document collections in preparation for litigation;
• Working on all aspects of litigation, from the initial responsive pleading through trial.

Experience :

Desired Skills and Experience

2 years insurance coverage and litigation experience

Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
