Adams & Martin Group is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join a law firm in downtown Minneapolis. This is a direct hire opportunity with a hybrid work model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to attorneys in estate planning and litigation cases.
- Schedule hearings, depositions, and client meetings.
- Contact courts and manage communications regarding case filings and procedures.
- Assist with electronic filing (eFiling) of legal documents (training available for state or federal requirements if needed).
- Prepare and proofread legal correspondence, pleadings, and other documents.
- Maintain and organize case files, both electronic and physical.
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience as a legal administrative assistant or similar role.
- Experience in estate planning and litigation is required.
- Familiarity with scheduling, contacting courts, setting depositions, and eFiling.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software is a plus.
