We are seeking a Litigation Legal Secretary with a strong background in civil litigation, preferably in plaintiff-side Labor & Employment (L&E). If you thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment, have a sharp eye for legal deadlines, and can seamlessly navigate state and federal courts, we want to hear from you!
β Litigation Document Preparation: Draft and revise pleadings, correspondence, and memoranda with precision.
β E-Filing Mastery: File documents electronically in state courts (required) and federal courts (preferred). Appellate e-filing experience is a plus.
β Litigation Calendaring: Manage critical litigation deadlines using CompuLaw (training provided if needed).
β Trial Preparation: Assist with litigation and trial prep-experience here is a big plus!
β Court-Ready Formatting: Ensure proper court formatting for pleadings, including TOAs/TOCs using Macros.
β Litigation Software Proficiency: Strong technical skills in PDF, Word (including Macros), and Outlook.
1οΈβ£ Technical Excellence: Proficiency in litigation technology, including e-filing, calendaring deadlines, and document formatting.
2οΈβ£ Civil Litigation Experience: Plaintiff L&E preferred, but open to other civil litigation backgrounds.
3οΈβ£ Court System Knowledge: Solid experience with state & federal e-filing (CompuLaw experience a plus).
