Senior Associate Attorney - Toxic Tort Defense
Location: Fully Remote - offices options in LA and OC
Salary Range: $175,000 - $200,000 Bonus
About the Role:
A well-established, majority women-owned law firm is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney with 5 years of litigation experience to join its growing toxic tort defense practice. This role focuses on silicosis and toxic tort litigation, with opportunities to manage cases, mentor junior attorneys, and contribute to professional development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage toxic tort and silicosis litigation cases.
- Conduct depositions, hearings, arbitration, motion work, and trial preparation.
- Lead case strategy and execution while mentoring junior attorneys.
- Participate in case meetings and business development initiatives.
- Maintain a billable target of 1,900 client hours 100 hours for CLE/professional development.
Qualifications:
- Licensed in California and in good standing.
- Experience in toxic tort litigation (silicosis preferred, but not required).
- Exposure to employment law and personal injury defense is a plus.
- Strong background in case management, depositions, and motion practice.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $175,000 - $195,000.
- Guaranteed Bonus: $15K for 110% client billable hours discretionary performance-based bonuses.
