A established and global law firm is looking for an experinced Senior Attorney or Senior Counsel to join their growing team. The firm has more than 500 attorneys nationwide alone and more than 20 offices. This person can go into one of the firm's California offices or work fully remote should they choose. Candidate must reside in California.
The firm is looking for a bright attorney and an strong writer who is motivated and proactive with their caseload. This person must be able to act independently and comfortable taking on a leadership role with their cases. They must be comfortable with client interaction with high level executives of major insurance companies. The position involves representation of insurers in complex commercial litigation and insurance coverage matter.
Responsibilities
- Develop litigation strategy for insurance coverage litigation business disputes and class-actions;
- Conduct complex legal research and analysis, and draft memoranda;
- Analyze insurance policies, draft analyses of coverage issues and provide coverage advice and recommendations;
- Draft and review pleadings, memos, briefs, interrogatories, and other legal correspondence and litigation documents;
- Take and defend depositions;
- Attend court hearings and mediations;
- Manage and supervise associates and paralegals
- Interact with clients.
Education and Experience Required

5 years of insurance coverage litigation experience.
Admission to practice law in California.
