Adams & Martin Group is seeking a Real Estate Litigation Associate to join a law firm in the south Twin Cities metro. This is a temporary opportunity with an onsite work model.
Job Responsibilities:
Draft and negotiate real estate contracts, including purchase agreements, leases, and option contracts
Conduct due diligence investigations, such as title searches and zoning verification
Advise clients on complex real estate transactions, including development projects and acquisitions
Oversee closing processes, ensuring legal compliance and complete documentation
Represent clients in business disputes, including breach of contract, shareholder disagreements, and fraud claims
Perform legal research and develop litigation strategies to support client interests
Draft and file pleadings, motions, and briefs; prepare for hearings and depositions
Negotiate settlements and mediate disputes to achieve favorable outcomes
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Active membership in the state bar
2 years of real estate law experience, covering both transactional and litigation work
Demonstrated expertise in business litigation, contract law, and commercial disputes
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in legal drafting and document review
Ability to manage multiple cases independently and work effectively within a team
