Adams & Martin Group is looking for an experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal.
The candidate will be responsible for handling claims from inception through resolution. The position entails extensive contact with clients, attorneys, insurance adjustors, and medical providers.
Duties & responsibilities include : Opening new files; gather and analyze intake information and relevant documents; fully investigate each case; maintain contact with clients on regular basis; prepare documents and correspondence; collect documentation of all damages sustained such as medical records, bills and loss of income; read and interpret medical records and reports; organize and maintain case files. 4 years of knowledge in personal injury / workers compensation required. Must : be able to jump into an existing caseload and move cases forward; have strong work ethic and be able to work well in a fast pace environment; have great people skills as the position requires a great deal of client contact; be able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines; have exceptional communication and written skills; have computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word and legal software.
The candidate should have 2-4 years of experience working for a workers' compensation or personal injury practice .
