Job Details
The Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating total nursing care for patients admitted to the ICU.
Providing support to the patient and family in the dying process.
Performing admission assessments and subsequent assessments in a systematic, organized, and timely manner.
Formulating nursing diagnoses based on accessible, communicable, and recorded data.
Must be able to read EKG strips.
Job Requirements
- Current RN license in the State of Indiana.
- 3-5 years experience preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required (2 years preferred).
- MUST be willing and able to float to Med Surg - 1 year of recent Med Surg experience required.
- Telemetry experience preferred.
Schedule Information
Night shift 645pm-715am.
Flexible schedule preferred.
Weekends required.
Unit Specific Information
A scavenger hunt for familiarity, 1-2 shifts on days with preceptor; 1 night shift with preceptor.
Possible Epic course.
