We are seeking a reliable and skilled Pool Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of our clients’ swimming pools. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pool systems, equipment, and chemicals, along with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-notch customer service. No experience? We are willing to train good candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of swimming pools, including skimming, vacuuming, and backwashing filters.
- Test and balance water chemistry using appropriate chemicals to maintain safe and optimal water conditions.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators.
- Ensure pool equipment and systems are functioning efficiently and make necessary adjustments or repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of pool maintenance activities, chemical levels, and equipment repairs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on pool systems and equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in pool maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pool chemistry, equipment, and maintenance techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
