We are seeking a motivated HVAC Technician Apprentice to join our team at Adams Power in Elkhorn, WI. As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced technicians and gain hands-on experience in the HVAC industry. This is an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in a growing company.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems
- Learn to troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC equipment issues
- Participate in training programs to develop technical skills
- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Schedule:
The schedule for this role is primarily Monday – Friday, day-time hours. Later hours and weekends may be required depending on our workload and the needs/schedules of our customers/clients.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires consistent heavy lifting of up to 75 pounds, in addition to possibly climbing onto roofs and/or tall buildings as well as attics and crawl spaces. All safety measures will be taken and proper PPE (personal protective equipment) will be used in accordance with OSHA standards.
