We have seven locations across Wisconsin and Illinois, and looking to expand our team in Middleton, WI.

In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings and industrial settings. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of Wisconsin electrical codes and safety regulations, strong troubleshooting abilities, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
- Install, modify, and troubleshoot electrical systems, such as lighting, power distribution, motors, generators, transformers, switchgear, control panels, fire alarms, and data communication.
- Test and inspect electrical systems and components using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty or damaged wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand and power tools.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with other tradespeople, contractors, engineers, and customers.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
- Follow all established safety policies and procedures and report any hazards or injuries to the supervisor.
- Supervise, train, and mentor apprentice electricians and helpers.
- Keep current on the latest developments and innovations in the electrical field.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
Minimum Education and Certification Requirements:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Licensed as a Journeyman Electrician in Wisconsin (must be listed on resume and/or application)
- OSHA 10 completed within 6-months of hire date
- Valid Driver's License with no major violations the past 5-years (must be able to drive a company vehicle)
Minimum Experience Requirements:
- At least five-years of experience as an electrician in an industrial or commercial setting
- Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Skill in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, motors, generators, transformers, and lighting systems.
Schedule:
The schedule for this role is primarily Monday – Friday, day-time hours. Later hours and weekends may be required depending on our workload and the needs/schedules of our customers/clients.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires consistent heavy lifting of up to 75 pounds, in addition to possibly climbing onto roofs and/or tall buildings as well as attics and crawl spaces. You may need to use a bucket lift for some projects, elevated in the air. Additionally, you may be required to dig/trench outside in increment weather as needed for projects. All safety measures will be taken and proper PPE (personal protective equipment) will be used in accordance with OSHA standards.

Salary : $30 - $45
