Reporter
The Antigo Daily Journal is seeking 2 part-time news reporters, each for 15-20 hours per week. They will work as a team to cover local government and schools, and community news. Prior journalism experience is helpful but not required. If engaging with the Antigo and broader Langlade County community and telling the people’s stories through words, photos and video sounds like something you’d like to try, and you are self-driven with demonstrated success working in teams, but come from a different professional background, we can train you in basic journalism skills.
These are in-person positions working out of the Antigo Daily Journal office in Antigo, with some nights and weekend work required.
Our journalists need to be ready to adapt to a modern, subscriber-based journalism model that recognizes digital consumption of news is our future.

In southern Wisconsin, Adams Publishing Group produces 15 news publications in a variety of formats – daily, weekly and semiweekly – but what they all have in common are readers who want useful, local content. We need stories about our neighbors, our businesses, our governments and local trends.
