We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor during interactions with the public.
- Conduct thorough inspections of property, equipment, and personnel to identify potential security risks.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or suspicious activities.
- Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations for management review.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and ensure the safety of assets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in law enforcement or security roles preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies.
- Must possess a valid armed security license or certification as required by state regulations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
