Adams & Sullivan, PC, LLO is seeking a full time Litigation & Transactional Paralegal to join it’s premier practice. Primary responsibilities include assisting attorneys with litigation case management, drafting variety of legal documents from start to finish in litigation matters, discovery processes and litigation support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Maintain and organize files, attorney calendars, docketing and scheduling attorney appointments, deadlines and meetings
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of litigation management from inception to conclusion, including matter intake, internal and external communication, pleading preparation and review, discovery management, settlement and other case management obligations
- Perform legal research of local rules; court record searches
- Prepare material for retention or disposal once a case has been resolved
- Draft letters, e-mails, and engage in high level communication with staff, attorneys and clients
- Assist in document management
- Answer phones and other various administrative tasks
- Other duties as assigned
POTENTIAL CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:
- Knowledge and understanding of legal principles and practices
- Time management and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge and proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Electronic Filing and other internet research tools
- Willingness to work on a wide variety of assignments
- Ability to work independently as well as part of team
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- A team player attitude within the firm.
- Positive customer service orientation.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum two years' paralegal experience in a law firm

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
