The Systems Administrator position is responsible for the hardware and software administration of our rapidly growing manufacturing company headquartered in Canton, South Dakota.
Essential Responsibilities
In support of our growing domestic and international workforce:
- Provide support for Microsoft Server and Desktop products in a 24x6 working environment.
- Maintain and grow our leading-edge VMWare computing environment.
- Provide help desk support for daily issues.
- Support corporate project implementations, such as ERP, Security and Wireless Networking.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Extensive experience with VMWare.
- Extensive experience supporting PC and laptop hardware and Microsoft 10, 11, and Office packages.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Server, Office 365, SQL, and Windows.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience.
- Highly organized and excellent time management skills required.
- Knowledge of Cisco Meraki network switches, sub netting, and firewalls.
- Experience working in a fast paced and rapidly changing manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience with RSA preferred.
- Experience with EDI, a plus.
Working Environment: Must wear proper PPE equipment in all designated areas. Exposure to high noise levels, working indoors and outdoors with exposure to mechanical/moving parts hazards, dust, dirt, odors, and irritants. Ability to walk, sit, stoop, squat, climb ladders, and stairs, and lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds in weight.
