We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer with expertise in systems administration, cloud computing, virtualization, and backup solutions. In this role, you will work with various clients to design, implement, and manage robust IT systems and infrastructures, ensuring optimal performance, security, and disaster recovery.
Design and implement enterprise-level IT systems across both on-premises and cloud environments, aligning technical solutions with business needs.
Administer cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, deploying and optimizing cloud services, virtual machines, and storage solutions.
Manage and troubleshoot virtualized environments using VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM, ensuring scalability and performance.
Design and maintain backup strategies, ensuring reliable backups and a comprehensive disaster recovery plan.
Monitor system performance, proactively resolving issues to maximize uptime and reliability.
Implement security best practices, including user access controls, data protection, and compliance with security policies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintaining detailed documentation of systems, architectures, and configurations.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring their infrastructure meets business requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Approx. 5-7 years of experience as a Systems' Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Proficiency in VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization technologies.
Experience with backup solutions such as Veeam, Commvault, or similar tools.
Proven experience in both on-premises and cloud systems administration.
Expertise in server, storage, cloud, and Office365 environments.
Proficiency with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other foundational IT services.
Knowledge of networking configurations, security frameworks, firewalls, VPNs, etc.
Hands-on experience in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently, while being a team player.
Client-focused with a service-oriented approach.
Fluency in English, both oral and written.
Certifications prefered :
VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent.
Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect or equivalent.
