Job Summary:
Adapt of Illinois, a progressive social services agency, seeks a Residential Services Associate to work second shift (Tuesday- Saturday; 3p-11:30p) in a group home setting in Belleville, IL. This position involves providing recovery-based services to adults diagnosed with chronic and severe mental illness.
Responsibilities:
· Advocating for the needs of an underserved population
· Conducting individual and group services to assist clients in achieving recovery goals
· Facilitating community placement and fulfilling other case management duties
· Documenting all clinical services provided
Qualifications / Requirements:
· High school diploma or G.E.D.
· Minimum of one year of related residential experience required
· Strong computer, writing, and time management skills
· Ability to work five 8-hour days per week including one weekend day per week and some holidays
· An interest in working in a team environment where clinical skill development is valued
· A strong desire to help individuals with mental illness recover lost skills and reduce stigma
Salary:
Starting hourly range of $18.50 - $20.91 per hour commensurate with experience
