- Collaborate with development engineers to create algorithms and software logic in C and Python
- Translate system requirements and architecture into robust algorithm designs
- Develop and integrate logic for advanced driver assistance and autonomous systems
- Ensure all logic meets design specifications, quality standards, and functional safety requirements
- Partner with IT and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Mentor junior engineers on software development best practices and processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong command of C and Python
- Proficiency with GIT version control and collaborative development workflows
- Experience with performance analysis, troubleshooting, and solution implementation in complex systems
- Proven ability to work independently or within a collaborative project team
- Certification in C or Python (foundational, associate, professional, or specialty)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Experience with vehicle simulation environments (1 year)
- Hands-on experience with ROS1/ROS2, Docker, and Linux-based development
- Skills in shell scripting, web development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS), and using visualization tools such as plot.ly, bokeh, or matplotlib
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and time-series databases
