Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will play a crucial role in providing high-quality behavioral therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges. This position involves working closely with clients, their families, and a team of professionals to implement effective behavior management strategies and support care plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
Duties
- Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies.
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes in accordance with established protocols.
- Provide direct support to clients during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and adjust care plans as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development related to behavioral health and special education practices.
- Support clients in achieving their personal goals through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques.
Requirements
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Experience in behavioral therapy or working within special education settings is preferred.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining medical records confidentiality.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to client behaviors effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- After school
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
