About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team at Adaptive Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling sheet metal parts in accordance with technical specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fabricate sheet metal parts using various tools and machinery, including brakes, shears, grinders, and band saws.
- Lay out, drill, bend, and trim aircraft sheet metal parts to meet precise tolerances.
- Properly record work performed on Order Assembly documents.
- Operate machinery safely and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical data, and work instructions to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
- Lift up to 50 pounds with regularity and perform other related duties as assigned.
Key Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication, preferably with manual or CNC machines, drill presses, sheet metal breaks, rollers, sheers, etc.
- A&P certification preferable but not required.
- Experience priming and painting sheet metal parts with various types of primer and paints.
