Control Panel Designer

Overview
Adaptive Resources, Inc designs and manufacturers custom control panels and supplies advanced process control software and system integration for our customers. We are a growing, locally-owned company looking for an experienced industrial control panel designer to join our team.

As a Control Panel Designer, you will be responsible for the design of industrial control panels using AutoCad Electrical or Solid Works.

The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with a growth mindset and willingness to learn. They should be technically competent and able to communicate well with colleagues, management and customers as they engage in day-to-day tasks and participate in project assignments.

Duties

• Review and evaluate customer requirements, specifications, and standards to develop accurate and efficient electrical design solutions.
• Development of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to provide technical support during the assembly and testing phase.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering technology, industry trends, and regulatory requirements, and incorporate them into design practices

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in electrical design, including the design of electrical systems, schematics, and layouts.
• Familiar with AutoCad Electrical or Solid Works. Understanding UL regulations is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
