Portfolio Accountant II
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of Professional Services and Information Technology personnel. We provide a variety of professionals available for contract, contract-to-hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas.
We are currently seeking a Portfolio Accountant II to join our team.
Responsibilities :
Execute financial and operational objectives while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and contribute to financial goal achievement.
Support internal teams in managing budget expectations.
Establish work papers and maintain financial database accuracy.
Deliver monthly financial and operational reports in a timely manner.
Complete bank reconciliations and manage expense reimbursement requests.
Prepare documentation for audits and collaborate with auditors as needed.
Provide outstanding customer service to internal stakeholders while maintaining accounting integrity.
Facilitate communication among team members to promote efficiency and collaboration.
Participate in financial meetings and present portfolio reports.
Identify and escalate financial discrepancies or irregularities to management.
Perform additional accounting-related tasks as assigned.
Stay informed on changes in accounting standards and best practices. Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Strong knowledge in Debits & Credits
Experienced in financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Effective communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with financial software, including Yardi or similar platforms.
Prior experience in portfolio or property accounting.
Knowledge of financial compliance and regulatory standards.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule , with a combination of in-office and remote work. Candidates should be able to maintain a consistent schedule based on company guidelines.
